Temple Falls

Environment for two old temples. Basically I wanted to go for a more cinematic feel in this one, so I went for a perspective that looks 'up' to the buildings to make them more 'epic'. I also added some upward lens flares to push them even more. I wanted to avoid going too symmetrical so if you look closer you'll see that the temples are actually not exact copies of each other. They aren't really parallel either so I had to use two perspective grids.

I've recently been absorbing everything Chris Oatley has to offer. This guy's amazing and really supports the art community in a fantastic way. If you're unfamiliar with him, he's a character designer at Disney and he writes some great stuff about breaking into the concept art business.

As for myself, I'm working on a yet again a really intricate scene, which I hope to finish this week. I'll keep you posted.

CGChallenge XXVII - TEN

I've decided to enter CgSociety's 27th challenge called TEN in which you have to illustrate or animate a project around the number 10.
